DOMAINE DE LA TUILERIE LA BREILLE : WINES CÔTES DE DURAS

For several generations, the vineyard Domaine de la Tuilerie La Breille has imposed a strict quality control. This family property, which has grown to 37 hectares, is located in the north of Lot-et-Garonne, a few hundred meters from the Gironde and the Dordogne, on clay-limestone hillsides. It has a south-southwest exposure for a sunshine more favorable to the ripening of the grapes. The grape varieties are chosen judiciously and the grapes are harvested at the best time. We vinify traditionally nos vins côtes de Duras with a control of the temperatures in order to preserve all the aromas.

We produce red wine, dry white wine, sweet white wine, sparkling wine and we press a non-alcoholic grape juice. We are independent winegrowers and our products are Appellation d'Origine Protégée (Protected Designation of Origin) in pays Côtes de Duras. We owe our know-how to our grandparents and parents who started to trace the history of Domaine de la Tuilerie La Breille and have passed on to us their love for the winemaking profession. We pay homage to them by applying their teachings of the vine and by combining them with modern techniques of exploitation.

The stages of the work in the vineyard must be rigorous, from planting to vinification. All the work carried out in the vineyards and in our cellars, the mastery and knowledge we have acquired over the years has enabled us to obtain HVE3 certification in 2020 for the preservation of biodiversity, fertilisation management, phytosanitary strategy and water resource management.
